Katie Wood started her career in the financial services industry in 2007. She has filled a myriad of roles including: business development, client relationship management and internal case design. Having the ability to be mentored into the business has been an invaluable experience. Katie's passion for client service, led her to take an active role as a Financial Advisor.

She takes a very consultative approach and finds listening is the key to all planning. Her mission is helping individuals and businesses get from where they are to where they want to go. Katie's areas of interest include retirement planning for individuals and corporate planning.

Katie has been involved in several community activities.  Most recently, she served as the President on the Board of Directors for the National Association for Down Syndrome (NADS). After completing a year on their Finance Committee in 2012 she was elected as the Board of Directors Treasurer.  She served as the Treasurer until 2017 when she was elected President. NADS was founded in Chicago and is the oldest organization in the country serving individuals with Down Syndrome.  Additionally, Katie has been the Treasurer for the Stevenson High School Hockey Association since 2016. 

Katie holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Sales and Sales Management from Western Governors University.  She is married her husband, Dan, and they have two children. They enjoy traveling the world while experiencing and learning about different cultures.  She is an avid SCUBA diver and enjoys diving both locally, throughout the Midwest and overseas.
