Jay has been providing investment and risk management services since 1994.  His personal mission is to help people reach their financial goals by assisting them in accumulating, protecting, and distributing their personal wealth.

Jay's areas of focus include:
- Retirement Planning
  o IRAs
  o Individual 401(k)s
  o Annuities

- Investment Planning*
o Mutual Funds and Brokerage Accounts
  o Education Funding (529 Plans)

- Risk Planning
  o Life Insurance
  o Disability Insurance
  o Long-Term Care Insurance

Prior to engaging in these planning areas, Jay believes a thorough assessment of an individual’s situation and needs along with development of a suitable asset allocation model is required.  Hence, he provides a comprehensive financial needs analysis in which he first helps individuals identify their goals, priorities, and concerns.  Next,  he recommends a strategy and portfolio designed to reach these goals.  Lastly,  he helps them choose the products that will implement the strategy.

Because situations and needs constantly change and evolve over time, Jay considers review meetings an integral part of a client relationship, since it is imperative that strategies and plans be continually updated to stay on track to achieving one’s financial goals.

So no matter what stage in life you are at, be it a young person just starting your first job or a retiree or somewhere in-between, Jay can help you plan your financial future!

A little about Jay's background…. Jay Agarwal was born in Chicago, raised in the north suburbs, and has lived downtown in the New Eastside neighborhood (near Millennium Park) since 1995.  He has a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Northwestern University.  He has had previous involvement in an entrepreneurs club, a business-networking group, several East Indian associations, and a condominium committee.  Jay's interests include playing sports (tennis, volleyball, biking, softball, pick-up football), watching sports (baseball, football, and hockey), live music, and current events.
